Trains Skipping Coimbatore Junction Due to Engineering Works – March 2025

In light of the Fixed Time Corridor Block approved for engineering works in the Salem Division during March 2025, several trains will experience changes to their routes and stoppages. Passengers traveling on specific trains in this period should be aware of the following updates:

  1. Train No. 13352 – Alappuzha to Dhanbad Express

    • Date of Service: 12th, 15th, and 16th March 2025
    • Change: The train will be diverted to run via Podanur and Irugur, bypassing the usual stoppage at Coimbatore.
    • New Stoppage: An additional stoppage will be provided at Podanur with the following timings:
      • Arrival: 12.17 hrs
      • Departure: 12.20 hrs
  2. Train No. 12678 – Ernakulam Jn to KSR Bengaluru Intercity Express

    • Date of Service: 12th, 15th, and 16th March 2025
    • Change: This train will also be diverted to run via Podanur and Irugur, skipping its regular halt at Coimbatore.
    • New Stoppage: An additional stoppage at Podanur will be provided with the following timings:
      • Arrival: 12.47 hrs
      • Departure: 12.50 hrs
  3. Train No. 18190 – Ernakulam to Tatanagar Express

    • Date of Service: 12th and 15th March 2025
    • Change: The train will be diverted to run via Podanur, Coimbatore, and Irugur, affecting its normal route.
