To accommodate the increased number of passengers during the Summer Season, the Southern Railways has announced special trains services between Tiruchchirappalli and Tambaram. These special trains will be operating three days a week, will run from 4th April to 27th April 2025 to ease travel for commuters.

Train No. 06190: Tiruchchirappalli to Tambaram Express Special
- Departure: 05:35 hrs from Tiruchchirappalli on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Arrival: 12:30 hrs at Tambaram the same day.
- Total Services: 12 (3 per week)

Train No. 06191: Tambaram to Tiruchchirappalli Express Special
- Departure: 15:45 hrs from Tambaram on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Arrival: 22:40 hrs at Tiruchchirappalli the same day.
- Total Services: 12 (3 per week)
Train Composition:
- 2 AC Chair Cars
- 10 Chair Cars
- 6 General Second Class Coaches
- 2 Second Class Coaches (Divyangjan Friendly)
These trains have been specially designed to handle the anticipated summer rush. With multiple classes available, including AC Chair Cars and accessible coaches for Divyangjan passengers, these services will offer convenience and comfort for all travelers.
