The train service operated from Chennai Egmore to Tirunelveli is tagged as train no 02631 and Tirunelveli To Chennai Egmore is tagged as train no 02632. The departing of train number 02631 from Chennai Egmore is 7:50 PM and train number 02632 at 6:35 AM from Tirunelveli.

The train service will have stoppages at Mambalam, Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Melmaruvattur, Tindivanam, Villupuram Junction, Vridhacahalm, Tiruchirapalli, Dindigul Junction, Sholavandan, Madurai Junction, Virudunagar Junction, Satur, Kovilpatti.
The schedule will depart from Chennai Egmore at 7:50 PM and Arrive at Tirunelveli the next day morning at 6:45 am.
