Southern Railways has shared guidelines for a hassle-free travel experience in Trains, The movement to and fro of the railway station will be allowed based on confirmed e-ticket presented at security check of Railway Protection Force. The passengers are requested to reach the railway station at least 90 minutes in advance to facilitate thermal screening at the station.
At the stations all the passengers are requested to be screened, only asymptomatic passengers allowed to board the train, Be provided with hand sanitizers at entry and exit of station and coaches. The passengers are requested to wear masks all the time during travel and stations.
Arogya Setu application required to be download by the passengers before the journey. No Linen Blankets and curtains are provided by the railways, it’s advisable to bring your own linen.
It’s advisable to carry own your own food and water during the travel, it’s advisable to carry light /minimal luggage during the journey. Social distancing must be observed during the travel as well as in railway stations in order to avoid contact with the virus.
Passengers are requested to adhere to the standard operations procedures followed in the respective Union Territory or State at the time of arrival.
